I purchased some cheap curtain panels in linen and white sheer and doubled them on the rod for a quick custom look, without the custom price! Curtain rod used to be dark cherry wood which was subjected to a quick paint job. Quickest makeover I ever did. Turned this picture window into a great feature wall. See more of the room on my blog.
