Snowmen group made out of scrap wood that you paint up & place into a holder that you make out of wood. Makes a cute gift for a special friend .
Try can use your old Christmas cards to make trivets or coasters. try to keep the theme of Santa's , Angels, or any other Christmas collection. cover a tile with mid podge & place your card on tile. After it dries cover picture with another layer of mod podge.
This also make a nice gift for that nature lover. Hurricane vase from Dollar General. place on a wooden disk a little bigger that vase opening. glue your stem to base along with adding the butterflies which you can make them out of an old soda bottle. When your scene is complete then glue vase over your completed work. Your may even want to add some lights on the bottom so it laminates at night.
Convert all your old salt & pepper shakers in to holiday pieces. Add a Styrofoam ball that you have decorated & added some Epsom salt & glitter, then use either old music sheet for the body, add buttons & a scarf to finish off your little snow shaker.
