My brother used a carpet knife to cut the corks in half lengthwise and then glued to a board, added molding and has unique and attractive valances in their family room. Everyone comments on how nice they look. Simple, classy and attractive. It did take a lot of corks for sliding doors and 2 windows but friends helped save. Easy project.
