I have granite counter tops in my kitchen. Unfortunately, a seam had to be placed between two pieces of granite. Now the seam has opened up. The filler/grout, is no longer there. HELP! How do i fix this?

Replace the grout. Check your local home supply store.

Call the company that installed the countertops and get them to correct the problem.

I agree... who ever installed should fix the problem. .

The correct way is with a dollop of polyester-based resin and add a small amount of color, trying to match the color of the granite. I am sure Silicon calk would work here. There is food grade for the health factor minded. But it is not like you will be eating off it. It comes in many colors just hard to find. If you want to do it the another way you can buy a bag of un-sanded grout. But to me it would be a unnecessary expense and mess. calk is cheep and will wipe off with a damp rag.

If there is a seam and it's opened up, you need to find out why. If the floor settled the cabinets need a shim then the granite needs to be fixed. If seam was not done properly they need to fix it. If the seam is too big, they need to fix it. If you just patch it now you run the possibility of doing the same thing in another couple of months. You need to see why.
