Our home has 3" clear pine baseboard, trim & also doors...would love some input on colors that would go well with the wood. I would consider painting it but my husband would probably divorce me! lol I'm partial to dark colors but would love to hear any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I think almost any colour, but shades of yellow or green, and you could choose the hue to get the depth of colour you would like.

Well I'm painting my walls celery green right next to my new pine tongue and groove. Just bought the paint last night. I hope it looks OK.

I believe most any color would go with pine. I would pick a color and intensity that you love. What other colors do you have in your home? Do you tend to pick light neutrals or bright colors? I find that if you stick with either cool undertones or warm undertones through out the house flows well. I'm very into taupe right now and we just painted our hallways and family room Perfect Taupe (PPU18-13) by Behr and I LOVE IT!

It's actually more of a Kiwi color and I love it. I'm not sure how it would rate with a professional decorator, but it makes me smile. I'll post a picture when we get the room finished.
