Hi I am looking for instructions on how to assemble the door pergola, looks like just a few doors put together.

I was told I could get specific instructions from KMS, please help. I would love to have hubby assemble this in my back yard for my place of solice, I just love this!

I have not seen one of these but think one could be built fairy easy by connecting 8 uniform height doors at right angles to form 4 basic corners. From there a pair of beams could be set up and then cross rails. One problem with using doors though is that they are not considered structural elements. I would feel safer with hundreds of pounds of lumber overhead, if the vertical elements were bona-fide timbers set in concrete in with post brackets. In this one I built I used 6 x 6 cedar for the posts and some other 4 x 8 beams and 4 x 6 timbers. it is very bomb proof http://www.hometalk.com/search?filter=kms+%2B+pergola&search=&zipcode=#!/533913
