My Kitchen on a Budget!

I love beautiful things, but I can't spend a lot of money. From my $36 island countertop to the stock cabinets that I added trim to....our kitchen looks like it cost a lot more than it did!

my island countertop only cost $36! And I added trim around the base so it would look more like a piece of furniture.

@Anne marie D, I didn't get it at IKEA. It's just pine from the hardware store that I clamped together and stained. It's worked out beautifully!

Is that a pot filler I saw over the stove? I'd love to have one, but in thinking about how we'd have to route the water lines, I've decided I just don't need it THAT bad....LOL Your Kitchen came out Beautiful!

Sharron W Yes, it is a pot filler! I decided to put it in when I was going to tile the backsplash. It was do it then or never since I knew I wouldn't want to tear out the tile. Re-routing wasn't a big deal because we have a water heater in the wall behind so we just hooked into that. Thanks for the comment....I'm glad you like it! :)
