Doing my kitchen on a dime.
Old kitchen when we moved in back in May
This was the kitchen when we moved in back in May. The counter even had contact paper on it, everything was nasty or stained.
The kitchen a work still in progress
Scrubbed an painted walls an cupboards, I removed some doors added new hard ware an island. Stripped the contact paper from the counters.added a stainless steel back splash and spice shelf. My husband added a lower shelf for dishes ect because I have a hard time reaching up because of a disability.I used a real pale green for the trim and and then a light leaf green abve an inside the cupboards. Then a darker leafy green on the walls cupboard doors island. I kept the old original red counter tops.
My husbands coffee station, I don't drink it so he felt he was very special but still have some trim for the island an ceiling then the floors to do an curtains an cushions for the chairs to do

Finished picture? Why some cabinet doors were left on. Would u do more or less now? I'm concern about dust? I Live in a High Industrial area. ( pray) My kitchen is a 1978's solid fruit wood wood cab. 5x7 floor area, small u shape. butch block laminate. - no windows ugh... We were thinking of Bright white for frame and a light beige cabs. and doors. Its a constant battle to keep closed. i.e. why asking which to take off. Counter top thinking about the Rustoleum sp taupe series. (white, beige and blk specks.) I really like your color combo. makes me wonder if I choosing the right colors. I'll only do this once ( health and age). Any thoughts?? Vickie vmnd@swbell.net. Be Blessed
