  • I love creating little "sitting areas".
  • Plants add warmth. : )
  • A shower hut that is always stocked for family and friends.
  • Pool chairs that are all thrifted.....
  • Drop cloth curtains. Wal-mart or thrifted furniture that is spray painted and spruced up.
  • Looks like it was there for years, doesn't it? This was created through bartering. Just completed about two years ago.
  • I pick up umbrellas at yard sales and CL. Adds shade and creates another "sitting" area.

Love the Annie Sloan chalk paints and fabulous colors but cannot afford a can of paint for every project? I feel your pain and found a great solution in a $4.00 can of spray paint.

scratch it up good! Concentrate on areas where little feet and big feet rub. Thighs sliding on and off.....and if you feel you go too far. Don't fret, grab that can and lightly spray over. Easy fix! XOXO! ; )

Gardening: Is this poison ivy or poison oak?

I asked a friend of mine one time and he ripped it out and called it some kind of weed. I want to double check. Anyone know if poison ivy or poison oak? Would love your help!

See how I spruced up a "dirty" shady outdoor space!

I have a little shady area that I always struggled making look "clean". A painted Oriental Rug that POPS with color is a great way to hide a dirty spot! I paint them right on the concrete. I share more details on my post.

I'm so pleased with the results of our kitchen after applying a few coats of paint and darker stain to the cabinets. For the first time in over a decade I finally like our kitchen!

Convert A Recessed Light to a Pendant Light

Super easy to do, takes about 10 minutes and you can give your lighting a whole new look. The hardest part for me was finding the right shade. :)
