Morning Glories

Victoria
by Victoria
I planted Picotee Morning Glory and this is what I got. I absolutely love them but have no idea what they are.
Does anyone know the name of this flower?
I adore these.
They match my obelisk perfectly.

They sure look pretty but be careful, morning glories are terrible evil weeds that take over everything and it grows way too fast. They will kill all your other plants if you don't keep it contained, but they also grow underground so you won't know of it's evil plans to dominate your yard. You'll plant it in one area, next thing you know it will be somewhere across your yard, and they are impossible to get rid of because their root systems go so deep. Never mix any composting you get from the Morning glory in with anything else, not even if it looks dead, it will come back to life, I swear. The last owner of this house planted morning glory along the fence because she thought it was pretty, it has taken over my yard, and all my neighbours yards and no matter how many times we remove it, or try to kill it, it will always come back. Honestly morning glory is one thing I would never advise anyone to plant, it is such a pain. There are other vines that are also pretty and that will not take over your yard. I wish I could get rid of it, anyone have any ideas?
