Wall mounted fresh herb drying rack

Have fresh dried herbs right at your fingertips! What a great idea to repurpose an old bed frame material and a piece of peg board into this wonderful herb drying rack for your kitchen! Not only it is functional, but beautiful too!

Brilliant. Great timing for this thread, too. I have tons of herbs in the garden, and the first snow surely around the corner, so I have to salvage them soon.

I use a wire Moss basket hanging from the ceiling and just bundle my herbs and tie them to the basket wire....that way they are fully surrounded by air and fully upside down so they dry quickly and i know there is no chance for mold from a "wet spot" These on the pegboard are just small sprigs so they should do fine...but if you had large bunches of mint or hanging peppers to dry they would take to long up against the board.

Glad to see good old pegboard put to use. I am all for having things accessible in the kitchen.
