My Christmas bulb wreath is too big! Help!

I failed to measure a the space between my front door and storm door before making the wreath(which looks great by the way). But now it's too big, the storm door will not close and If I hang it on the storm door, it's exposed to the elements. Any suggestions on how I can down size it without ruining it?

Just hang it elsewhere- on a wall or in the window.

Have the same problem. Also if I hang a live wreath, the sun cooks it in between the doors and it turns brown very quickly. The only thing I can hang on my door is a wooden seasonal placque. Hang your wreath on a wall, above your mantel or on a mirror.

because theft was always a problem I hung my wreath from inside the livingroom window.

Mary, try over a mantle or a living room or dining room, on a wall that face the entry. You might try replacing the bulbs with smaller ones.
