DIY Upholstered Headboard

We purchased a king bed and had no headboard and really no extra money to buy one. All the ones I liked were about 400.00 so we decided to make one
We wrapped a piece of plywood in foam and batting then used painters drop cloth to cover it. The drop cloth looks exactly like linen but at a quarter of the price. We then stapled it all to the back of the plywood.
After that we added large upholstery nails to it for extra detail. It looks almost exactly like the ones I've seen at pottery barn. I just love it!
