Give the gift of glam this holiday season with stenciled Christmas gift-wrap! What better way to complement your thoughtful gift than to wrap it in something you made. This season we got inspired by Hollywood regency glitzy glamour, and created our own DIY wrapping paper using geometric shapes, black and white, and lots and lots of luxurious metallics! Here's how we did it:

Supplies:

Royal Stencil Cremes in Flat Black, Antique Silver, and Bright Gold

Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint(R) in Pure White

Wrapping paper in plain white and silver, embellished ribbon, gift boxes, clear tape, scissors, pencil
Step One:

Using pencil and scissors, measure and cut the wrapping paper according to the size and amount of the gift boxes that you will eventually wrap. Doing this first will help avoid wasting any material and making extra work for yourself.

Step Two:

Stencil your sheets of wrapping papers with your favorite patterns and paints using a stencil brush. Let dry.

Step Three:

Time to wrap your Christmas presents with your pretty stenciled wrapping paper! Give your gifts a finishing touch by wrapping embellished ribbons around the gifts and creating luxurious bows. Remember to mix and match pattern and colors! Hollywood Regency is all about combining materials, patterns, lux, and sparkle!
For this project, we used the Antique Silver and Bright Gold Royal Stencil Cremes to stencil on the Polka Party Stencil and Moroccan Scallops Stencil onto the white wrapping paper.

For this project, we used the Flat Black Royal Stencil Creme and Pure White Chalk Paint to stencil on the Sonic Border Stencil, Get Ziggy With It Stencil, and All The Angles Stencil onto the silver wrapping paper. By using the flat paints for the metallic paper and the metallic paints for the flat paper, we added more contrast to our DIY wrapping paper.

Now you have DIY gift-wrap that is vivaciously vintage and gorgeously glam! Whether you're looking for something highly customized and personalized, or you're looking to scale back without losing that personal touch, stenciling wrapping paper is a sure way to impress!
