Look At Me Now: A Bathroom Remodel Goes From Crowded to Spacious

What can you do in a 1920's Atlanta home, with a 60" wide bathroom? Just take a look! Working with a black and white theme, we added tiles that created a crisp look. The client's favorite part is the tiled frame we designed to outline a much larger mirror. Click to my newsletter to see what we did with her old guest room closet! http://bit.ly/UvvKtW (hint: it's now part of her bath!)

Before you mentioned it, my favorite part was the tiled mirror frame as well.

I really like the idea of framing a mirror with tile.

This is much a much more attractive solution to the ginormous mirror in my bathroom that is framed with plain moulding.

Thank you, everyone. I'm so glad you like it.! Choosing the tile with my client was fun. The tedious part was doing the math to get it to work properly.

That looks great! The black and white looks great with the wall color.

Nita, I had to figure out how many of the pinwheels to use plus borders to fit the exact space above the vanity.

The framed mirror is gorgeous! I have a huge one over double sinks that I have been trying to figure out what to do to it to update it without spending a fortune! Do you apply they tiles directly to the mirror & if so is there any special prep to the mirror?

I really like the mirror. We ended up taking ours down and putting up a large medicine cabinet with mirrored doors; this is much prettier.

I love the tub gone and large shower in it's place. I have two bedrooms that could share a shower in an unused large closet, but don't know how to make them private from eachother. Glass block wall and mirrored doors, or ??

Maxene, I'd be happy to look at it if you'd like to send me some photos and a sketch.
