Glass block painting

I want to make glass block light/lamps for my grand children for Christmas...my question is, can I use acrylic paint on them and seal with the clear spray paint? I also have labels I made on my printer to attach on there as well. Thank you in advance for any helpful info.!! :)

Even better, try using an acrylic paint made for glass painting. You paint, let dry for a day or 2 then bake in the oven. No sealing needed. Most craft stores and some Walmarts sell them. Apple Barrel Gloss, Folkart Enamels, Martha Stewart Multisurface and Americana Gloss Enamels are just a few of the brands I own. They hold up, even outside.
