14 Tips to Prepare Your Garden Tools for the Winter

Spending time now winterizing your garden tools will mean that you will be ready to go next spring. All of your garden tools need a bit of TLC now. Moisture and dirt can play havoc with garden tools. Rust will keep tools from working well and can be avoided.
Small hand tools need oiling and often rust removal right now.
You may not consider this a garden tool, but I sure do!

    I wish someone had a tip for keeping the fingers from wearing out of gardening gloves. I have a pair of Foxgloves that I am loathe to part with.
    • @Douglas Hunt I've gone through so many pairs of garden gloves that I can't count them. I buy they now at the dollar store. They seem to last almost as long as the retail ones and fit my hands perfectly.
