Lighted pathway

Hubby has been excited about the courtyard that we've put together. He was a little unhappy that it wasn't being accented by enough light. Today he began installing the new lighting system. The path is complete. Later he will go along all of the outside edges

Gardening: PEONIES:

I vaguely remember reading something about needing to snip off the outer buds on a Peony stem so that the center flower would be larger. I'm betting Erica, Walter or Doug could enlighten me (and others) on this. My peonies are budding now so should I go ahead and "sacrifice" the outer buds so the center flower will be BIG???

  • Looking into breakfast area from front door

We have some travertine tile that we need installed in our entry way.

We purchased everything needed to install, grout and seal the tile. Now all we need to do is find someone who will do this at a reasonable cost. The entry is parquet flooring and carpet ...»
and is somewhere between 94 & 96 square feet. I know, I have no idea what the builder was thinking. The tiles are 16 x 16 and we have a 24" x 24" medallion to center by the door. Anyone have any ideas on an installer? We live off I-85 Hamilton Mill exit off hwy 124. HELP!!!

Homeowner Hydroponics

I recently went to EPCOT in Orlando and enjoyed a tour of their hydroponic vegetable gardens. If you like to experiment, this could offer hours of fun!

To make things easy, I have assembled a bunch of links to hydroponic information at http://www.walterreeves.com/how-to-archive/h...
