Trying to get the smoky smell out of a house. Anyone have any suggestions?

Try a product called Nokout. It's supposed to take care of any smell you have. I have tried it and so far so good. Go to Nokout.com

I moved into a home with previous heavy smokers. The only thing that worked for us was painting the entire house walls, and ceilings with Kilz. It is an interior oil-base primer that tackles tough stains including water, smoke, tannin, grease, pet stains . A big job but it fixed the smell! Also make sure to clean registers and air vents. Good luck!

Renuzit makes an odor eliminator that works great. I have not tried on smoke as no one smokes in our home, but many of the reviewers state that it works very well for smoke.
