Old Dresser Mirror Into Jewelry (wall) Cabinet

Not every unwanted dresser mirror needs to become a chalkboard. I found this $5 all wood dresser mirror at the thrift store and thought it deserved more than just being a chalkboard.
Here's the before and after of the $5 thrift store dresser mirror. I love repurposing these mirrors and rarely pass on one for less than $10. At $5 this one was a steal!
It started out easy enough--making a simple box with shelves. After some tweaking and filling many unnecessary pocket holes, I was well on my way with this project.
I added a mounting rail on the top and bottom of the box so that this VERY heavy piece could be mounted directly to the wall (just like your kitchen cabinets)
With lots of thought given to hooks and hinges, this piece is now useful and has new life as a jewelry organizer.
