Wanda.ll on Nov 26, 2014http://www.happyhandyman.com/category-s/1826.htm Ask this guy what to do before you do anything. He is great. Look at his webpage for help too. He has had many questions and answers there. But he will answer your question if you call him too. Always helps me out in a jam.Helpful Reply

Jerry Toombs on Nov 26, 2014A photo would definitely help. But, if it is lifting around an edge or seam, I would try epoxy type glue and weigh it down with something heavy for a while. A seam sealer is available at one of the big box stores. If the whole thing is coming loose and have to remove it, I personally would replace the whole thing which is not all that hard or expensive.Helpful Reply

Sherrie on Nov 26, 2014Use a contact adhesive to re glue it down. You can also try r Reactivating the glue first. Use a blow dryer and warm the area. Then lay it down flat and use books to make sure it has good contact. And let sit for awhile. They use contact adhesive to put on counter tops and a lot of times rewarding it up will do the trick.Helpful Reply

Rose on Nov 26, 2014U might be able to see my vintage table. I had this problem. I used a flat toothpick to put in some glue. Don't force! You don't want it to break. Will have to clamp or something.Helpful Reply

Pat Anderson on Nov 26, 2014my counter top laminate is coming unglued also. I've tried all the above suggestions, nothing worked. now guy said I can't just pull it off & put new because the old glue is hard & bumpy, would have to be sanded!! what a messHelpful Reply

Bev Deardurff on Nov 27, 2014Since I've moved into our house the laminate on the counter was loose. We've lived here for over 10 years, so the house is about 100 years old. I'm have become physically handiapped because of a rare disease, so it not accessible for me. I loved it when we first moved in. I started to renovate, but finances are slim. I've heard of reheating it, but it has been that way for so long I don't know if I could get the glue hot enough to stick. I've been trying to think of another way.Helpful Reply
