Should I remove the laminate and do this directly on the wood underneath the laminate? Love this look. Had granite in another house but did not like it. Would paint my cabinets too.

A photo would definitely help. But, if it is lifting around an edge or seam, I would try epoxy type glue and weigh it down with something heavy for a while. A seam sealer is available at one of the big box stores. If the whole thing is coming loose and have to remove it, I personally would replace the whole thing which is not all that hard or expensive.

Use a contact adhesive to re glue it down. You can also try r Reactivating the glue first. Use a blow dryer and warm the area. Then lay it down flat and use books to make sure it has good contact. And let sit for awhile. They use contact adhesive to put on counter tops and a lot of times rewarding it up will do the trick.

if there is glue under the laminate heat it & the laminate up with a heat gun then press & put a heavy weight on top- let sit for 24 hrs. if there's no glue use contact cement

U might be able to see my vintage table. I had this problem. I used a flat toothpick to put in some glue. Don't force! You don't want it to break. Will have to clamp or something.

Since I've moved into our house the laminate on the counter was loose. We've lived here for over 10 years, so the house is about 100 years old. I'm have become physically handiapped because of a rare disease, so it not accessible for me. I loved it when we first moved in. I started to renovate, but finances are slim. I've heard of reheating it, but it has been that way for so long I don't know if I could get the glue hot enough to stick. I've been trying to think of another way.
