Fertilizer

I would like to change my habit of purchasing so many types of fertilizers for different plants. Isn't there one very good slow release fertilizer for acidic plants, one for flowering plants & veggies, one for evergreens & just limit myself to 3 different fertilizers? If so, what are the #'s for each category.

Three's a very reasonable number of fertilizers to keep, I think, @Teresa C . (Although I do keep four on hand because I have palm trees and they have special requirements for micronutrients.) You could use any good slow-release fertilizer. I'm partial to Espoma products, and generally use Plant-Tone and Holly-Tone, which are 5:3:3 and 4:3:4 respectively. For flowering plants and veggies I use Osmocote, which is 14:14:14.
