Mum alternative for the fall porch
I filled a market basket with wildflowers, weeds and tree branches surrounded by corn shucks as a free alternative to mums. I used two large coffee cans with a medium hole cut into the plastic lids to hold the flowers inside the basket. Although the cans are filled with water, these will dry very well and last several weeks.
