You definitely think outside the box (or the basket, or the hamper). It's terrific.

This is so sad to see. Why would you do this?

Hello Kimberly. I make no apologies for the functional repurposed/upcycled art I make. The pieces that I find are beyond their original intent and require "furniture surgery" to bring them up to the function that I use them for. I feel strongly about my art because the things I use have only a limited time before they are hauled off to the dumps from their previous situations and conditions. I hope that my new purposes for my pieces give them a double life. Thanks for following my project.

Agreed! Amazing! Some people don't understand that pieces are beyond fixable and are then given new life with amazing art to be loved for many many more years to come! I support your efforts to keep things from the landfill! High fives on all of your amazing creations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wasn't beyond fixable. you could have sold it for alot of money to a collector such as myself. Now its junk.

You're a needle in a haystack Kimberly. This piece stood in someone's booth for over a year with no interest. I'm more than pleased with my piece. Moving on now....
