Vintage Sewing Pattern Tissue Paper Flowers

10 Minutes
Easy
Don't pass up those old sewing patterns at the thrift shop! Use them as tissue paper for various craft projects, including these DIY flowers, the perfect farmhouse-style Spring flower.
Please check out the original blog post for each and every step!
Old, outdated sewing patterns are almost always available at thrift shops! But there's no need to use them to create unflattering clothes...
Instead, use them as tissue for paper-based crafts! First, start by stacking same size rectangles on top of each other.
Then, fold them accordion style and round off the ends.
Twist a long pipecleaner or piece of floral wire around the middle.
Fluff to your heart's content until desired look is achieved.
My original post has the full tutorial, including materials I used- thanks for clicking over!

Could you do this with regular tissue paper if you wanted different colors?

Love 💕 these. Goes to show how old I am. We made these to decorate cars 🚗 for the wedding parties. Taped them on the cars for when they drove around after the wedding. Guess they don't do this anymore. Oh and as we drove around we would blow the car horns to let everyone know they were married. Oh this really shows my age. Hope you liked the story. Because I really like the flowers.
