Would you consider this farmhouse? Maybe rustic? Definitely awesome though, right? icon

This is how I made a Halloween wreath with stuff I already had in my workshop.
Lovely! Farmhouse right?...
I found this 45cm/17.7in wreath in the bargain bin a couple years ago for $3. I went back to see how much it costs new and it's $8. Dang! You can probably make this same wreath with a pool noodle or cardboard.

You can find the faux..fox leaves on Amazon.

It's about $11 for 300 leaves on Amazon.
If you don't live in the US, I recommend AliExpress. It's about $6 for 300 on AliExpress, but shipping takes longer. I live in Japan and usually order from AliExpress with no problems.
I used craft wire and micro foam beads to make the cool little antennae things all around the wreath.
This was the experiment stage, so I only did a section of the wreath to see how it would look.

I hot glued on the leaves and then bent all the craft wire in half and hot glued them under.

The micro beads easily push onto the wires.
I spray painted the wreath with matte black spray paint.

The spray paint will make the foam micro beads shrink and some will get so deformed they'll fall off so don't spray them directly.

You can put the foam beads on after you spray paint too. It looks more Halloweeny when the beads are deformed. icon
Here's a pic of the supplies I used.

-Hot glue gun
-Black glue sticks
-purple craft paint/ paint brush
-black spray paint
-dollar store spider web
-potpourri

*I only added a tiny bit of spider web to the wreath. It's more noticeable in person than it is in the pictures.
I painted the beads with the purple paint and hot glued on the potpourri.

I've had this potpourri for years and it still smells awesome.

This was exactly the look I was going for! Is it rustic?
More leaves and craft wire and beads!
The finished wreath!
I love it!
