  • Clear dry erase paint can go on top of any existing wall color. The only noticeable difference is that it's glossy.
  • Easy come, easy go!
(Pay no attention to the subliminal plug)
  • Video projection paint, unlike a screen, means the surface is perfectly flat and does not wave around. In person, the picture looks like a TV.

New ideas for 'media' paint. Great for offices or around the home messaging.

Dry Erase paint that is clear can go on top of any existing color wall.

And for video projectors, projection paint is better than a screen.

  • Start by painting the trim first . You can pass over onto the wall by an inch or so.
  • Loading up your 3" brush full with paint helps you to 'find your line'. With subtle pressure, run the tips of the bristles to the corner. You will find the right resistance to your bristles in the corner to make the line straight.
  • To make the line even straighter, take your 5-in-1 tool wrapped with a wet rag and drag it down the corner. At just the right angle, this will give you a crisp, straight line.

  • Paint your ceiling first, wrapping the corner. Take your ubiquitous 5-in-1's back edge and gently score a mark.

  • Just use the corner as the naturally flowing guide.

  • Downspouts (and garage doors) looks better when they blend in with the wall.
  • Pick a place on the downspout elbow to match the sight line of the siding. 2
  • When the downspouts don't blend in, they chop up the house.

Gutter downspouts: contrast or blend

Downspouts look nice when you don't see them. They are utilitarian and should be the color of the surrounding area, not breaking up the architectural lines of the house.

Sally, if memory serves from looking at a book on the house, the original drive came in straight. How astute of you. The house has been added onto the back over the years enlarging the kitchen, and the second story 'sleeping porch' on the left, closed in.
