also, since the couch is now in front of the window, get the panels in a 63 inch length ...»
instead of the standard inch. / I would do some type of light filtering, not blackout, shade with grommet top panels.

Wine bottle shape I cut out and turned into a wine bottle holder

I drew out this wine bottle on MDF..cut and painted it. By using some old bed springs, this wine rack is easy peasy to make. For a VERY unique wine rack, it's not hard, and doesn't take all that long to do! #mykitchen

  • Simply encase the rod and finials with fabric. Then take a tie rope and cover it with fabric and attach a tassel at the bottom. Drape a sheer over it and you're done. 1

Simple window treatment to try

You don't need to know how to sew to create this great look yourself. You can hand stitch or hot glue the fabric quickly and easily. This was a quick fix with a small amount of fabric.

Amazing what you can do with a ready made scarf valance. they are sold 216 inches long and ...»
around 50 to 60 inches wide. Many come with an insert in the package showing ways to hang them or you can look it up online under scarf valance. Intertwining 2 colors looks good also. They usually run $30 to $50 each at a place such as JCPenney window dept. I change the way mine are hung when I get tired of the look.
