  • Built in shelving using "SCRAP" wood then painting with white paint.
  • Shelving all the way into the angle created by the stairs...no wasting any space here.
  • Handmade chalkboard menu planner/shopping list.
  • Organized with bins and baskets and by food types. This will make it so easy to find things and to put things away when back from shopping!
  • The before of the under stair closet. Just a big storage space.
  • All the miscellaneous stuff with no other "home" shoved to the back.

This house had no pantry space whatsoever. What could we do but figure out how to create one? Time to get creative!

No Pantry? Really? That just wouldn't do. What could we do but figure out how to create one? Time to get creative! #OrganizedHome

Great project. We have stairs going down to our basement and my husband put me some pantry ...»
shelves on the right side going down at the main floor level. When the house was built they left some space there and it works perfect!

These are Passion Flowers and they are a vine. In NC you will need to keep them in a pot and ...»
bring them in for the winter. They will sometimes produce a fruit with seeds inside. I have had some luck drying out the seeds and getting them to grow. Good luck!

What do you think of using patio furniture in a living room? Like a cushioned outdoor sofa set? sort of cottage style.

I think it is a great idea! You really could get a vacation feel all the time if you wanted, ...»
or a cottage feel, depending on the style of furniture. And it could add a lot of color.
