I wish I could see the wall. :-( Guilford green by Benjamin Moore would be perfect with the back splash and the cabinets: http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/guilfordgreen

What color is on the floor, do any of the walls where you are wanting to paint touch the tile and what color is the grout in the tile (in my screen it doesn't look like it has been grouted yet), are the cabinets to be painted or stained, will you be keeping the hardware and are the blue accents (teapot & utensil container) staying? If everything is staying, I think Janis above is on to something with the "guilford green" because of the gray undertone and it would look great with the blue as well. Nicely done Janis.

I recently researched this same question...I went with Wythe Blue by Benjamin Moore.

Correct no grout yet it will be done this weekend flooring also is going to be done this weekend it's kind of a lighter stone with Gray's veining in it cabinets will stay the same my husband will not let me paint he's a Carpender son so painting good cabinets is just not right lol

@Holly I hear ya on the cabinets, I am married to a carpenter and that is simply not done. I stained a portion of ours darker (just the bathroom) because the "Yellow" hue got old to me and the hubs still has not noticed after 8 years. Paint he would likely notice.

Thanks for deets. You have a lot of greys going on and it seems that they all have a slight blue hue with the exception of the stainless. I would either stay with the greys or contrast with another neutral. If you stay with greys, I like the Pratt & Lambert Contemplation mentioned above (link http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/19881_Pratt--Lambert-2228-Contemplation#prettyPhoto) or if you want contrast I would go with a blueish color. Depending on your layout, the color painted ceiling with whitish walls looks really good as well.

Thank you for ideas ...are you saying paint ceiling with a color slightly darker than walls?? I do have 12ft high

Yes I was/am. Search "Painted Ceiling" in both hometalk and pinterest for different combinations. Painting a ceiling with color and neutral walls brings in a lot of color without a lot of clutter. I do realize that painting or repainting a ceiling is a lot of work, but I like it myself. When trying out colors, paint a sheet of paper and attach to the wall rather than painting splotches on the wall. To Paint Ceilings White OR To Not Paint Ceilings White -- that is the question. Like or Dislike?!
