Thankfully I don't have many carpets to worry about myself, but I really need to save this post just in case I move into a place that has them! Great tips. :)

This isn't about carpet but it might work on it too. Hydrogen Peroxide gets blood (even dried) out of clothing. It's the best thing I've found yet to get blood out.
