My Dad was a staunch Marine and my Mom didn't know the meaning of "Give Up". I grew up with great respect for my grandparents and ancestral heritage, and a strong sense of GOD FIRST, FAMILY SECOND, MYSELF THIRD. I was also taught "Stand tall, head high and shoulders squared. You are the only one of you that will ever be created, one of a kind." and "You are loved just as you are." I was brought up to love learning and that "If there is something that needs to be cleaned up or repaired, then do it, and if you don't know how to do it, LEARN how to do it and do it right the first time" (and it's okay to feel good about yourself for that.) I like good music of all sorts and good (gluten free, lactose free) foods, laughing, and trying to dance a little bit. I mostly, and absolutely, love spending time with, and spoiling, my daughter, my grandchildren, my son in law, and all the family pets. We were all created to love, to need, to help, to create, to laugh, to learn and grow and be thankful for the daily blessings in our lives, even if the only blessing we get that day IS that day of life. Never forget to be thankful for what you have.
