Reinvented Christmas Home Tour 2014
My Christmas home decor is simple, easy and budget conscious. All you need are a few touches in each room, lots of DIY projects, and a little time. Create the perfect holiday mood for your house and your family on your budget.
This is our main tree in the family room. I went with an aqua, red, white and metallic theme this year, and I am loving it. We cut down a frazier fir each year, and each year I'm convinced that this one is the best.
To the left of the tree is our holiday mantel. I add greenery, trimmed from the tree, a Christmas Carol chalkboard, a few ornaments and a couple of empty box "gifts."
In the dining room, a simple centerpiece crafted from more tree trimmings, my aqua Ball jar collection and more ornaments lend a festive feeling for little cash.
Our nativity is showcased on the bicycle wheel foyer table we DIY'd last summer.
In the den is the "Fun" tree, holding all of the kids' ornaments collected over the years.
