She's a beauty! -
Hey Donna, did you enjoy your visit to the South (aside from the heat)? I enjoyed Bella Rustica - wasn't the barn fantastic? -
I love this Donna...can't wait to try it! -
Absolutely beautiful! I LOVE hydrangeas!!! It is so easy to make too! Thanks for sharing. -
I don't understand the part about if hydrangea is earlier in season it should be put in water to dry. I thought you put them in water to hydrate and hang them up to dry? Please clarify - I missed this year but would love to do it next. -
I love it! My hydrangeas still have a boatload of blossoms on them even if some of them have already turned. It will be my project for this coming week. :-) -
DrJill Moncilovich , I find that if I harvest hydrangeas once they turn abit crispy, they don't need water in order to dry unwithered. But fresher ones earlier in the season indeed do. I can only assume that partial drying right on the bush was the key! Strange but true. :) -
The wreath you see in this post is now completely dry and it looks nearly identical to it being fresh except the colours are a bit more muted. It's very pretty! -
Ellen H, I am head over heels in LOVE with the south! I'd go back in a heartbeat, humidity and all. :) The barn was absolutely amazing, those stone walls were the perfect backdrop to all the amazing stuff being sold. Stellar event Bella Rustica was! -
LOVE THIS! I am going outside right now and cutting my hydrangea blooms to make a wreath!
