Not sure what to do with bathroom mirror

Can't take it down because it's in laws place. It's big, old and needs something. Light fixture is getting replaced but i don't know what to do since it has a corner medicine cabinet that has mirror as well. Any suggestions?

Pic would help as don't know if it sits flat on the wall or not.. Perhaps you could add a frame if it hasn't got one, or replace the existing frame. Perhaps you could hang a piece of artwork over it or paint a pic on it.

I saw a video, maybe you tube, where he created a frame with wood to make it more contemporary. Covered edge and that could be done regardless of edge if straight edge not curved. Will try and find link.

Are they by any chance mirrored wall tiles? If so, you could try covering it with non-permanent wall paper. That way it can easily be removed again, or maybe you could hang stuff up on it with those easy remove adhesive hooks?

If it's the old mirror that is just glass you can hang a framed mirror over it. I am redoing a bathroom right now and just ready to hang mine . I took the old one donee . If you feel it too big to cover , then build a frame around it . You could even put a matching one around the Medician cabinet . You really should show a photo .

I have seen pictures where someone took a big oval ornate empty picture frame and put it over the big mirror above the sink. They had two sinks so put the same thing over each sink....could be done with one and it looked very good. As for the mirrored medicine cabinet....paint the metal frame around it or just leave it alone and ignore it.

Can you decorate an antique frame and hang it as a pic around your mirror?

@Fabiola Villegas here is a post on this site about revamping a wall to wall mirror - very clever transformation. http://www.hometalk.com/diy/bathroom/mirrors/i-used-this-idea-and-revamped-my-large-bathroom-mirror-this-weekend-here-are-my-130713 If you search the site for bathroom mirrors you will likely find more ideas, this just happens to be my favourite. Do post a before and after pic, we all love to see these transformations.
