The fall has brought a riot of colours to Southern Ontario this year. So beautiful! Have a look and if you would like to see more, check out the whole post here.
Gorgeous. And even better and more serendipitous is the fact that my favorite Canadian band started playing on Pandora right as I saw your post, singing this line: "For the most part I think about golfing and constantly calculate / all the seconds left in the minutes, and so on, etcetera / Or recite the names of provinces and Hollywood actors; / Oh, Ontario! Oh, Jennifer Jason Leigh!"
Sorry for the random tangent, I just thought it was cool.
No, I like the Hip, but this was the Weakerthans. And it's not ignorance. Nobody has heard of them, sadly, but they are a fantastic band with great lyrics. This is the song I was talking about:
Finally, there are so many more great Canadian bands, beyond Rush and the Hip - Arcade Fire, Japandroids, Tegan and Sara, New Pornographers ... I could go on and on.
I spent my first near 30 years in Michigan...and I remember those colors vividly. After 20 + years in Colorado fall has a different look...we get plenty of gold and yellow but the deep reds of the maples are only found in some urban areas.
Sorry for the random tangent, I just thought it was cool.
Is that Rush or The Hip? Don't hate me for my ignorance!

And this might be my favorite Weakerthans song (skip to about the 1:00 mark to get to the actual song):
