Hi, everyone, I'd love to make a small desk photo or wall frame for my husband that can somehow include an early-young photo of us and the lyrics to 'our song'. Maybe print the lyrics in a nice font and glue the photos over the words? then modge podge to protect? other suggestions?

Have you tried to transfer pictures onto canvas? I tape wax paper to printer paper, type out sayings in Word, set the printer to mirror image and feed it through. It also helps if you have a glossy picture setting for your printer. Have your iron on a hot steam setting ready to go. As soon as the wax paper with image comes out iron the fabric over the paper to transfer the image. I've also heard of people using freezer paper but haven't tried it, wax is cheaper. Frame the fabric image with lyrics and you're good to go! Good luck!

Polly, I have designed beautiful photos like that. This sounds like a 'keeper'... can you enlarge the photo with the words digitally overlaid and then have some place (Hobby Lobby?) frame them in a large wall hanging frame?... or smaller desk size? Use a beautiful frame to pull it all together. I would also suggest you use the 'early' photo and incorporate a recent one also.

I took scrap booking to a new level aND picked pictures of favorite times throughout our time together. Found wonderful sayings and other supplys in scrapbook isle. You can frame it wrap it on the edge of a year long desk calender think outside the box
