The marble vanity sinks in our bathroom has surface cracking. Is there a way to seal the surface and paint over so it doesn't look so dated?

If the sink is 'cultured' marble, there is a specialty paint available and it's a DIY job. Try Sherwin Williams, paint for bathtubs to be sprayed on, more than one, very thin coat. 1st remove pop up, 2nd, v/lightly sand the sink and wipe with a tack cloth for 'tooth.' We had to buy a new stopper kit as the v/old one got damaged. It's straight forward, [instruction on You Tube] but uncomfortable lying in the vanity cupboard. Plan to let sink 'cure' for a minimum 48 hrs. Use another sink or waterless hand cleaner even though it's inconvenient

My husband used a jigsaw and cut the cracked sink out using the template we got with the new sink we bought to fit in the spot It was perfect We bought an oval sink that would fit right into the well of the old sink I do not have pictures as we have moved from that house but it made the whole thing new again

Or, use a sawsall, cut out the sink, deal with updating the counter top (paint, tile or other) then install 2 new top mounted sinks w/new faucets/drains.
