Our Christmas Tree 2014

It has become a holiday tradition. I decorate the house, bake the treats etc...Dearest and the children decorate our Christmas tree. We go together to pick out just the right tree. Our ceilings are 10 ft so it has to be a pretty tall one! This year not only did we find a lovely tall tree, but this one also is quite full and wide...every time I see it I hum the song, 'Oh Christmas Tree'
Last year I made a handmade banner with the names of Christ - from parchment paper. I chose the font for each name, copied it onto to 11 x 14 paper and traced it with black permanent marker. The effect is lovely.
Our tree is full of what we find to love and enjoy in the Christmas season...the joy of Christmas
Our Christmas tree is also full of whimsy...here you'll see a fish catching Santa
Some ornaments on the tree represent hobbies...this one was a gift for my children
this one represents my husbands love and hobby of restoring his '57 Chevrolet truck
this one represents our children's piano playing and our love of music
New this year are the red bows and red ornaments...to bring more color. Our Christmas tree represents many years of collected memories and delight.
