So, this is the paper towel holder I spotted at the thrift store. It was just a couple of dollars, in perfectly fine shape- and definitely ready to be repurposed!
While I didn't NEED to paint it, I always like to do that because it "seals out" the previous life. Know what I mean?
So I gave it a coat of light blue using paint leftover from painting our bedroom! Why not use paint I have plenty of on-hand, right?
NOW it's ready to hold and organize my stash of Christmas ribbon, which will make gift wrapping so much easier!

Isn't that awesome?? I love how it keeps the ribbon from unraveling and getting out of control- I mean, I used to keep them in a tote bag and it was a tangled mess!
Sorry- my little "helper" always wants to get in pictures. Besides, he head me say "ribbon"! ;) Happy Christmas and happy organizing!

Where did you find the towel rack with a feeder bar?

That looks great, but what do you do with the ribbons that have a smaller hole and the bar is to thick? I suppose you can use any size dowels and make another ribbon dispenser.
