Layer pallets as a base
Add mattress (we put the box spring too because I like higher beds)
I made my pallet base bigger then the bed so I could so I could decorate with some books and odds and ends 😊 my guests love this guest bedroom where they can sit and watch the horses out the window!

A nightmare bed. Getting off and on, and cleaning.

It is not anything I would chose, but somewhere to lay your body, other than out side in a tent on the ground. It' s okay, it's a mattress with pillows.....your body needs rest....

Don't our younger generation have allergies anymore like us older folks had? All these pallet ideas look like dust collectors that would be a nightmare to clean. Pallets are made with the cheapest, poorest wood available and are full of cracks and crannies that harbor dust and insects.
