Light Up Floral Display

With just a few items you can make a light up floral display. It's easy and inexpensive. It makes a great gift, adds ambiance to any room, adjustable for holidays, and great for a craft night with friends and family.
For this project you'll need the following:
- A mason jar with optional tea light holder
- Flowers
- Battery operated tealight or LED tea light
Pick some flowers you like for your display. I got mine from Dollar Tree. Gently pull the flower heads off the stems.
You will start layering your flowers and arranging them as you place them in the jar. You could also use flower petals as that would look lovely too and they sell those in packs of 300 for $1 at Dollar Tree.
You'll place your LED or battery operated tealight in the holder. If you don't have this tealight adapter lid (mine came ready to go from Dollar Tree), you can easily use a recycled jar and place the light in the bottom or middle of the layers of flowers.
Turn it on before setting it in the jar and screw the lid into place.
Continue layering and placing your flowers around the light until you get the look you want.
Add a little flower at the top to cover the LED light.
It's ready to be displayed where ever you would like to place it.
Add it to a bathroom for a little light, or make it a centerpiece on a table. So many places to put it. You could also add a couple drops of essential oil for fragrance.
Here it is light up with the lights are off.
I love the beautiful glow it creates.
You can adjust the colors of the flowers for so many occasions, such endless possibilities.
