Faux Iron Gate made from Toilet Paper Tubes!

A great way to recycle and decorate at the same time! Strips of toilet paper tubes are quilled by rolling them around the end of a paint brush.

well done! I made some chrysanthemum flowers and sprayed them gold for my girls room and liked them. But this is out of this world! You have the patience of a saint.

I love old gates and have a few but I like mine hung on my wall. Yup wall, that way when I am inside I can still be in a garden atmosphere. This would be ideal since the weight would be so much less.

How do you display this piece of art? (Masterpiece, I think.) Just by hanging on a wall? I'm just curious due to size and material. A "Mona Lisa" of your own. lol

Hi Joan, Thank you for your kind words! The piece is extremely light, but surprisingly sturdy. I just put in several strategically placed small nails and hung it! It could also be hung with those sticky hanger strips so as not to mar the wall.
