Easy Fall Hanging baskets that you plant in spring!

I planted these up back in spring to compliment my Pink, Green and Black annual garden. Once my summer planters were done,

these were ready to put on their show. All I had to do was remove the spent baskets and a whole new look took over. I used a simple combo of Ipomea 'Lime Margarita' and

Ipomea 'Blackie'. They look fabulous and are so

simple to care for and grow. Easy Peesy :)

Where did you keep them until they were ready to take over their starring role?

Shelley, you really have the magic touch. Gorgeous combo. So you planted them in the spring and they're blooming now?

Douglas, these were hanging in between the other petunia baskets during the summer while they put on size, see pic 3.

Miriam, thankyou! Ipomea's are known for their vibrant foliage and rapid growth... they are not grown for flowers, at least not in our parts. These are not hard to grow but they create a dramatic effect:)
