How to reupholster a chair

You can find this kind of chair for $20 at almost any thrift store. Now, you can buy it with a vision and skills to make it pretty! You don't need any fancy tools. We used a hand saw, staple gun, flat head screw driver, and needle nose pliers. It's a lot easier than it seems, promise! #recycle

It's gorgeous! Definitely need to know what you're doing, though.

My sister had someone give her a couple of these. One had padding on a strip up the back but the other one didn't. She took hers to her great upholstry guy and he matched the one without upholstered back to the one that did...they match perfectly and she picked a stunning brocaide (sp) and had it closely tuffted! They made a stunning pair of chairs for her bedroom.
