    i want to make a t.v.cabinet out of it,yes or no maybe a book shevle.

    Before you do anything, make sure you check the piece out. You do not want to paint or destroy an expensive piece! Your part of the country is where those big bucks "jewels" are found! If you do not like it, you could sell it and purchace a thrift store piece to change and put your money toward something you want! I have a couple of small tables that are not expensive but are of a period that would fit in our community's mid-1800s farm house rennovation...I will donate them. Just think...you tear it apart and find out later it was worth $30,000! Or more! Might be worthless....might not! I have a very plain little chest that is not impressive at all and it is probably worth thousands...

    yes jeanette,i did check it out,i don:t think it is worth anything,it could b junk,it does have a design on a couple of the draws,i can take a pic,but it wont send them out like that,it will let me send it like a text,but that is it,n who do i get to find out if it is worth anything,im not going to get rid of it,cos it could b worth alittle something,but doubt it,its worth a try n e ways,i enjoyed your comment thank you.!!!!!

    You can paint it, or wallpaper the drawers, or the whole piece. If you don't want to paint the whole thing, then just do the inside.
