Peppermint Candy Lawn Art

This is my first Christmas in Florida and the warm weather has thrown me for a loop. Since there’s no snow outside (and I’m sure as heck not going to put a bunch of fake snow on my lawn) I wanted to make something that will still be a little festive. This peppermint candy lawn art was the perfect addition.
What You Need:

8” Round Plywood Cutout, Carboard, Black Fine-Point Marker, Scissors, Tape, Newspaper, Red Spray Paint, Green Spray Paint, Hot Glue Gun, Thin Round 12” Wooden Dowel, Cling Wrap, Gold Garland
Directions:

Place the wooden cutout on top of the cardboard. Using the marker, trace the wooden cutout. Cut out the circle.
Freehand draw the peppermint pattern onto the cardboard, making sure there are an even number of spaces. Cut out every other space from the cardboard.
Remove the cardboard from the wooden cutout. Place the wooden cutout facedown on a flat surface. Using a preheated glue gun, glue the dowel to the back of the wooden cutout. Allow glue to dry.
