My Brassy Chandelier Is Blooming with Coffee Filters

Spray paint & hot glue with coffee filters took this 90s builder grade brass chandelier to something a little, shall i say it, bad-a$$. Read the tutorial on my blog for this simple, frugal, but beautiful upgrade.

Beautiful, but don't you worry that they will catch on fire?

No- I did this almost a year ago and have had no problems at all with them. The only worry I ever had was that if I left the lights on long enough, it might melt the hot glue, but that's never happened (yet)

Glad to see you on Hometalk!! Enjoyed meeting you at the conference - and am in love with that chandelier! Looks like happiness, cotton candy and fluffy clouds all rolled into one!
