How many times have you read a blog that's starts out "So I was skimming through Pinterest when".....? Yeah, that's what happened here. Ha! When I saw this cute little crow, I knew I had to make one too. I also knew I had all the supplies to do it. So I went shopping in my craft room.
To recreate my crow's nest, you will need the following supplies:

A hot glue gun
Black crow (the crafty kind)
Old rusty bed spring
Twine
Ribbon
Spanish Moss
Pearl pins
Buttons
Rhinestones
Old book page
Beads
Material to make the rosette (I used vintage seam binding)
Stuff a hand full of moss in the top of the spring, then add the crow and all your "decorations" using your hot glue gun.

I made the rosette by twisting seam binding and then hot gluing it to a piece of heavy card stock in a circular motion.  The book page bow is just a 4 x 6 piece that I scalloped on the edges and then formed to the shape of a bow. I then tied it with a vintage button and some twine to hold it.
She looks so happy with herself all perched up there in her beautiful nest of bling and baubles.

She fits right in to my spooky farmhouse decorations.
