I have an Electrolux electric oven and for some reason it won't stay closed and I have to lean on it for it to stay and keep its temperature. Any suggestions?

First, you can usually find the owner's manual online with a bit of digging. Secondly, oven doors are made to be lifted off, so maybe yours wasn't put all the way back on last time it was removed?

I had the same problem with my Electroluux oven. I ended up having a repair guy come out, while it was still under warranty, and he adjusted the oven door. Couldn't have fixed it myself, it was a rather complicated adjustment.

it maybe the rubber seal has loosened up preventing the door from closing

Maybe trying to adjust the hinges. Make sure the door is pushed all the way down on the hinges.

Mine was a spring. 25.00 from GE and my husband put it on. Works great!

Call company and talk with tech support. So many appliances have lifetime warranty they may send you free. If not, they will help troubleshoot and then fix yourself or get oats at local appliance parts store, who may as long have repairman referrals if cannot do it.
